S.MILES Group continues to invest in employee development with the recent “Foundation of Power BI” training program, conducted as part of the Quarter 4 capability-building initiative for staff at all levels. The program successfully concluded on 28 November 2024.
This initiative reflects the company’s commitment to elevating employees’ skills in data processing, data analysis, and effective data visualization.
Power BI is a powerful and essential Business Intelligence tool that enhances business analytics. It enables users to connect to various data sources such as Excel, SQL Server, and multiple cloud services, and transform them into visually appealing, interactive dashboards providing actionable insights that are crucial for business decision-making.
S.MILES Group has now reached the fourth quarter of its training initiatives. In this session, employees were encouraged to analyze real operational data by applying the foundational knowledge they have gained since the first quarter, including:
Data modeling
Data transformation and preparation through Power Query
Data visualization using Power BI
Employees then presented their work in the form of interactive dashboards, while both their soft skills and hard skills were evaluated by the S.MILES Group management team.
