Maybis Hotel, a subsidiary of Smiles Group, continues to advance its employee wellness initiatives. Most recently, the company organized the Annual Health Check-up 2025 for employees across all group companies on Tuesday, 15 July 2025, from 06:00 to 14:00 hrs. The event was held at MOOVE 3 Event Centre, the banquet and conference facility under Mayson Place.

This activity was honored by the presence of Khun Thong Methakul Suwanabhut, Managing Director of the group, who personally visited the site to encourage the employees. He also joined them for warm and friendly group photos, and prepared snacks and milk for everyone before they returned to work in the afternoon.

For this annual health check-up, Smiles Group has chosen to receive services from the medical team and staff of SEMed Living Care Hospital (SEMed Living Care Hospital Thai Occupational Medicine Research Center), who possess extensive expertise and experience. They provide comprehensive and holistic health check-up services, including:
- Measure height / Weight measurement
- Blood pressure measurement
- Blood test
- Health consultation with a doctor
- Vision screening / Eye examination
- Chest X-ray
- Medical history taking, including underlying diseases, risk factors, and health behaviors
These comprehensive examinations aim to help personnel effectively monitor and prevent various diseases, along with providing personalized health-care guidance.
Guidelines for Preparing Before a Health Check-Up
To ensure the highest accuracy of the medical examination results, the Human Resources (HR) Department has informed employees of the following guidelines in advance:
- Refrain from eating and drinking for at least 8 hours before the blood test.
- Avoid alcohol consumption for 72 hours.
- Avoid intramuscular injections for 72 hours.
- If you have a history of blood transfusion, please allow a 120-day interval before the test.
- Regular medication for chronic conditions can be taken as usual.
- For urine collection during menstruation, discard the first stream and collect the midstream sample.
- Stool examination will be conducted using a swab method; all necessary equipment will be provided.
- If you are pregnant or have any underlying medical conditions, please inform the staff before the examination.
Online Health Check Results System
Employees who undergo health checkups at SEMed Living Care Hospital can conveniently view their medical examination results online via computer, smartphone, or any mobile device. The system also provides a downloadable report function, allowing employees to submit the results for other documentation purposes without needing the physical health checkup booklet.
